Today is my last day of being Guest Designer over at http://www.crossmyheartpapercrafts.blogspot.com/ Its been lots of fun! For Todays project we were asked to make an Advent Christmas Project. I use and Advent Calender for my Children at Christmas time every year. They both go to Catholic School and have learned about lighting the Advent Candles for the coming of Jesus birth. Advent is from the Latin word Adventus which means coming. This advent Calender which I purchased at Starbucks the day after Christmas is shaped like a Christmas tree. I covered it with Christmas Patterned Paper. Cut the numbers out with my Cricut at .5 inches using my cricut and the Plantain Schoolbook Cartridige. I punched out some holly leaves and snowflakes wuth some punches and cut out some stars, gingerbread people and some trees with Quickutz dies that I have. I also used a Large Bow button for the top of the tree and some buttons for berries on the holly leaves.
Thanks for visiting my Blog!
Great Advent Calendar--I like the tree shape. Do you know what you are putting inside yet?

Like the Advent calendar. Reminds me of when my daughter was younger and I would buy her an Advent calendar. I did not have a Cricut back then.
