MEMORIAL DAY BLOG HOP

Welcome to my Blog and the Memorial Day Blog Hop. This blog hop is about showing our Patriotism and Gratitude to those serving in the Armed Forces. These cards are made with Love to Thank those Men and Women who are serving our country and allowing us all to sleep a little bit better at night. May God Bless them and keep them safe. These cards will be donated to Bazzill Basics Paper who has agreed to help a little boy named Stephen in Arizona who would like to send 180,000 cards to the troops by July 1st. If you would like to send some cards to Stephen to help him reach his goal, the link on where to send them is at the bottom of this post

I made both of these cards using Bazzill Basics paper. The first card has a Pinwheel that I cut out with my QuicKutz. The second card has stars that were cut out with my Cricut using the Doodlecharms Cartridge. Both cards have the word Thanks that was cut out using the Don Juan Cartridge.
I have to admit that making these cards was a little challenging. I wanted to add more embellishments like ribbon, flowers, glitter or rhinestone. I decided to keep it simple because these cards will most likely go to  men and I am also duplicating the Star card 15 times and sending it off to Stephen to help him reach his goal.
Now for some Candy.

I decided to extend my Pooh Cartridge giveaway for one more week. I know that a lot of  people will be out of town for the Holiday weekend and I want to give everyone who is interested a fair chance to win.
